During the design stage, we strive to find the perfect marriage between what you need your home to do for you, your budget, energy efficiency, and the characteristics of the building site. We accomplish this by understanding all of the variables–your personality, your habits, the pros and cons of different building materials and appliances, the nature of your building site (the views, terrain, its relation to the sweep of the sun, and the micro climate).

We utilize Computer Aided Design (CAD) and physical models to convey design ideas. You will be able to view your house in 3-D, from inside and out, at every angle, and with near picture quality. Design modifications can be made without difficulty!

We take several steps in order to minimize energy consumption in your home. We begin by offering super-insulated STRUCTURAL INSULATED PANEL construction for walls and roof. As design allows, we build in an abundance of natural lighting. As budget allows, we encourage solar energy production and energy efficient appliances.

Once you are satisfied with the design, we offer engineering, energy calculations, and submission of plans to the appropriate building department.

Once the plans are approved, we prepare an itemized bid for materials and construction–“Full-Disclosure.” We are licensed, bonded, insured, and carry workers compensation for each of our crew members.
